About Us
Global Marketing Technologies was established in 2001 to provide quality direct marketing campaigns for high-technology organisations in the UK, Ireland and other European countries. Our obsessive focus on quality has been recognised by some of the world’s most successful high-tech companies: “we count among our clients five out of the top five of the world’s technology Companies. Our account profiling and lead generation campaigns bring real sales opportunities and increased revenue. GMT adds value by bringing our industry expertise to the process. We do much more than just carry out programmes under direction: our highly experienced teams understand our customers’ ultimate goal – to grow revenue through win-win sales.
People
The people at GMT are mature marketing professionals, third-level graduates with a background in IT marketing.They operate in teams, have frequent client interaction and are committed to the success of client campaigns. Local account support is provided in the UK by Bob Young, an experienced professional who previously managed major accounts at Cable and Wireless. Account support in Ireland is provided by Angela Hoban, who was formerly Marketing Manager with Hewlett Packard in Ireland.
Management Team
Nicola Lynch, Managing Director, has a background in building professional IT marketing teams. Nicola has built the GMT operation from the founding of the company in 2001, following a successful career with Ziff Davies culminating in the position of Executive Editor at PC Magazine.
Brian Silke, CFO, manages financial control and provides strategic guidance. Brian is a Chartered Accountant and has served as CFO of several venture-backed software companies.
John Dick, CEO, is a software industry veteran and has served as VP in a number of software companies. He also founded Results Marketing Services, a US-based company serving the software industry. John grew this company to 369 on the Inc.500 before selling his interest in 1992.
James Telfer, Sales and Operations Director, had been in sales and sales management positions in the UK IT sector since 1999. His expertise, amongst other areas, had a particular focus in channel sales for Cisco and various Storage Technologies. James joined GMT in 2006 to manage the internal team and grow the UK business.
Josephine Gilmartin, Key Account Manager, has over 10 years experience in marketing and customer service roles within the IT industry, and has completed a degree in marketing and IT. Josephine joined GMT in 2003 and is responsible for GMT's internal CRM system as well as managing strategic accounts.
